Abstract: Handloom sector in India is an important unorganized, diversified, decentralized, huge employment provider, good contributory to an economy, eco-friendly, family and rural-based; artistic and heritage. This paper is animated to analyze the important elements of the handloom sector such as dependent households, weavers, looms, worked man-days; production trends, export trends,and imports.
