Abstract: The main aim of this research work is to present a reliability and availability analysis of a three-unit system (A, As , B) under the provision of replacement of a unit using the Genetic algorithm. One unit is in standby mode so that after the failure of one unit it can be active. But one unit which is dissimilar to the previous one can be replaced with the new one after the failure. It has been considered that there is only one repair man availability within the organization. Here in this paper we have used the Genetic algorithm for finding out the optimized availability of the system and also with the assistance of numbers of graphs we have analyzed reliability characteristics, availability of the framework, so the result of the paper will be very useful for the industry people.
