Abstract: Humans get most of their total information through eyes. Hence eyes contribute to a major part of the human’s life. So with the advancement in the technology of both the hardware and software a low cost smart stick can be made to make the life of the visually impaired people easier and more comfortable. This paper presents a system concept and model to provide a smart electronic aid for blind people. This system is intended to provide the blinds with an aid, so that they can travel or go from one place to other with ease, without the need of an assistant to assist them where ever they go. This system basically aims at making a visually impaired person independent and swifter. Generally, the visually impaired people use a stick to avoid collisions and to locate the obstacles that comes their way. But due to certain limitations these sticks prove to be less efficient and frequent injuries are caused to the blind. To reduce the chances of any such injuries to the blind, this stick can be installed with some electronics equipments that work together to help the blind by making his journey easier, more comfortable and less prone to injuries. This system designed mainly consists of sensors, microcontroller, voice recording IC, speakers, vibration circuitry and a GSM module. All these are fixed to the stick making it a smart stick. Sensors sensing any obstacle alert the blind either via vibration circuitry or via speakers (voice driving unit). Further whenever the blind finds himself in trouble or finds himself lost he can use a panic button and GSM module to convey it to his near and dear ones via a pre stored message indicating his situation. In this way he is just a push away from his family.

Abstract: In this paper speed control of an Indirect Field Oriented Controlled (IFOC) Induction Motor with sliding mode controller has been developed and simulated. In this work the complete mathematical model of field oriented controlled Induction Motor and sliding mode controller is described and simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK. For studies a 1 HP (746w) squirrel cage type IM has been considered. The comparative study is done between PID controller and the sliding mode controller. The simulation results show that the proposed sliding mode controller (SMC) provides a good performance in the presence of external load disturbances.

Abstract: We describe managing virtual project team as a challenge because of its complexity and the potential risks. Through close investigation into a global virtual project (Project A) conducted by a multinational company (Organization X), we further explain why it is challenging to manage virtual team and how such challenge can be overcome by the management. Despite our report limitations, we think that although managing virtual project could be a turbulent experience, if managers are well prepared, it is still an option for organizations that are restrained by tightened budget and limited time provided.

Abstract: The Article deals with the magic elements found in the eposes of the Scandinavian and Turkic eposes. In connection with it the author focuses attention on the mythological motives connected with prediction. The studies discover that the genesis of this factor is connected with rituals and ceremonies. The phenomenon of transformation of the verbal elements found in the ceremonies of magic nature and in rituals into the texts of folklore is explained. Abstract: The development of society and transition to the new education system requires to the improvement of content, method and form of the training. Solution of the applied problem of new pedagogical technologies is based on the education. Opportunities of application of the same technologies, in particular, use of multimedia in the lessons means was investigated in this article. Its effective ways was indicated and experience for the application was given in the lessons. The use of electron textbooks and other technical means in the lessons is high the quality of training and the interest of learners increases to the science. The work of teacher is facilitating in the teaching, provides to learn more knowledge and skills for a short time.

Abstract: One of the environmental issues in most regions of Iran is the large number of bottles made from poly-ethylene terephthalate (PET) deposited in domestic wastes and landfills. Due to the high volume of these bottles, more than 1 million m3 landfill spaces are needed for disposal every year. The purpose of this experimental study was to investigate the possibility of using PET waste in asphalt concrete mixes as aggregate replacement (Plastiphalt) to reduce the environmental effects of PET disposal. Concrete is the most widely used man made construction material in the world and its second only to water as the most utilized substance in the planet. Seeking aggregates for concrete and to dispose of the waste from various commodities is the present concern. Today sustainability has got top priority in construction industry. In the present study the recycled plastics were used to prepare the coarse aggregates thereby providing a sustainable option to deal with the plastic waste There are many recycling plants across the world, but as plastics are recycled they lose their strength with the number of recycling. So these plastics will end up as earth _ll. In this circumstance instead of recycling it repeatedly, if it is utilized to prepare aggregates for concrete, it will be a boon to the construction industry. Most of the failures in concrete structures occur due to the failure of concrete by crushing of aggregates. Plastic aggregate which have low crushing values will not be crushed as easily as the stone aggregates. These aggregates are also lighter in weight compared to stone aggregates. Since a complete substitution for Conventional Aggregate was not found feasible, a partial substitution with various percentage of plastic aggregate was done. Both volumetric and grade substitution was employed in this investigation. Keywords:
