Abstract: The Ground Penetration Radar (GPR) is an extensively used geophysical technique for investigating shallow subsurface structures. We present the results of a GPR survey at the two construction sites of a hydropower project (Tunnel and Adit) in the Satluj River valley, Himachal Pradesh. The GPR survey has been carried at the construction site -1 with an objective to determine the overburden thickness as well as to map subsurface structural features like anomaly zone inside the subsurface strata. Similarly, GPR has been carried out at Site II on the vertical wall and floor of an adit with an objective to map the number of joint sets and shear bands and their continuity inside the rock strata that could make the structure unstable. Results revealed the presence of disturbed strata that are ready to detach at site no 1. Also, the depth of alteration zones at the major discontinuities has been assessed in GPR profile. Similarly, GPR profile of site-2 confers the presence of three joint sets with a shear zone.The radar survey therefore allows the localisation of possible weak zones and a precise mapping of the overburden thickness, joint sets and shear bands etc. Thus, it can be effectively used in mapping the geological structural features and hidden anomalies in rugged terrain of Himalaya.

Abstract: Today, the way of method of teaching becomes perfectly change for all students. The students do not need to go coaching classes. To understand the real contribution of channel in education, we understand some statistics of an academic channel. In this manuscript a channel is selected for analysis. This study reveals to provide an overall statics of channel, based on age of viewers, mode of traffic sources, name of sharing devices, subscription sources, gender viewers and subscription status over the course of the past 1 year. It is seen that the male viewers of channel are about 74% and female searched 26%. 92.0% viewers are learnt by the videos without unsubscribe the channel. It is also observed that the selected channel is seen 82% by B.Tech students and 16% by BSc students. 88% videos are searched by mobile phone device and 10% students are using computer device. It is concluded in this manuscript that academic videos of you tube channel is playing an important role in study of students.

Abstract: It was the date of 8th November, 2016 on which Rs. 500 and Rs.1000 bank notes of the Mahatma Gandhi series was demonetized. This news was announced by the government of India. This step was taken necessary to hold control on illegal activity and terrorism. After the demonetization Due to the lack of cash, digitalization has got the root. There is no way to do the payment. The Government of India has provided many cashless gadgets/devices to the public. Cashless transaction means when the goods and services are purchased by the use of various electronic mediums, without any use of cash and cheques. The aim of this study is to know about the modes of cashless payment, guidelines regarding its security, awareness programmes adopted by the government of India and its impact on both manners positive as well as negative.

Abstract: Design Patterns are one of the demonstrated reusable answers for the normally experienced design issues. The identification of design pattern is significant action that underpins re-building procedure and gives insights to the designer. The uncovering of these design patterns help understand the object oriented models clearly by analyzing the relations present in the model. Many design pattern identification approaches have been proposed in past years. These methodologies work upon the behavioral, structural and semantic analysis of the software. Many algorithms were used to recognize design patterns in software. In this paper, we will be extracting an attribute relational matrix from the graph using object oriented approach. The aim of the paper is to discover all the design patterns present in the system design.

Abstract: Pure and distilled water is now serving as a basic daily necessity for human being functionality. Solar energy is widely being used for purifying the salt water with basic fundamental of evaporation and condensation through a solar still which captures the sunrays, evaporates the seawater, condensate the vapors and purifies the water. This method is the widely used green method for water distillation via set ups. This paper concentrates at water purification by modified stepped solar still with wire mesh and comparing it with a conventional still. Still with 4 steps with depth of 5 mm and 120 mm wide were fabricated on modified still. The efficiency of stepped stiller was altered up to 30.72%and the amount of distillate obtained was 1932 ml/m2 /day in case of conventional distillerand 2800 ml/m2 /day was for stepped one.

Abstract: Life is the most essential entity in the World. What kind of world are we envisioning where we cannot breathe well due to pollution? One can have adverse consequences of being exposed to polluted air. Serious air contamination occurrences were watched often in north India, particularly at capital, Delhi. Dehradun, a capital of Uttarakhand, was amongst the 30th most polluted cities as ranked by World Health Organisation (WHO). SO2 and NO2 are one of the contributing pollutants which are harmful to health. In this paper, the levels of both the pollutants are considered for various locations of Delhi and Dehradun, to knowwhothe major player is SO2 or NO2.

Abstract: This study proposes the wear characteristics of the jatropha oil consisting ofhBNas nanoparticles. During the test, speed was varied at different rpm. The nanoparticles of 0.3% to 1.2% was mixed to the jatropha seed oil. All the experiment was accomplished on pin on disc tribometer. It has been observed that the nanoparticles of 0.6% ratio shows minimum coefficiecnt of friction and wear during all conditions. In terms of sliding speed, maximum wear of the material occurred at lower speeds for all the samples.

Abstract: In a wireless sensor network, concealing the location of the sink is critical. Location of the sink can be revealed (or at least guessed with a high probability of success) through traffic analysis. In this paper, we proposed an energy efficient technique for concealing sink location named EESLP (Energy Efficient Sink Location Privacy) scheme. Here we proposed an approach, in which we are concealing the sink location in such a way so that node energy utilization while securing sink in network can be minimum, to defending sink’s location privacy and identity when the network is subjected to multiple traffic analysis attack. EESLP designs the network area of coverage with multiple spots generating fake message traffic for fake sink location creation that resembles the traffic behavior that is expected to be observed in the area where the sink is located. To achieve this we select some sensors away from the actual sink location which act as fake sinks by generating dummy or fake packet. The simulation results prove that EESLP can improve network life time and QOS (congestion, throughput, packet delivery rate) of sensor network while protecting sinks Location privacy.

The present study focuses on the widespread characteristics of Diaspora like discrimination, nostalgia, survival, cultural and traditional changes and identity. The study also touches upon novels and short stories that go along with the common traits or features of diasporic literature.
