Abstract: This study is applied to the government sector in the UAE, to ascertain the Role of Innovation Strategies on Employees’ Job Performance. 250 Questionnaires are distributed to the sample of operations staff in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development of UAE to find out the effects of innovations on employees; job performance. Similarly, Quantitative analysis using SEM were used to evaluate and measure a relatively large sample in order to test hypotheses and examine relationships between variables. The findings revealed that, Organizational innovation has a direct and positive prediction on Technology. In addition, as anticipated, Product Innovation, Process Innovation and Marketing Innovation were adversely connected with the Employees’ Job Performance. On the other hand, the examination didn’t discover any help for the set positive effect of Product Innovation, Process Innovation and Marketing Innovation on Technology. The non-noteworthy effect of Product Innovation, Process Innovation and Marketing Innovation on Employees’ Job Performance and Technology was expected mostly to co-sharing of fluctuations with different IVs in the mind boggling model.

The Mediating Role of Technology on the Relationship between Innovation Strategies/Practices and Job Performance

Abstract: This research used five Likert scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree and the survey instruments were validated scales, used by reputable researchers in this field. Despite the fact that all the constructs rooted from the literature, their validities were further tested using SPSS 20.0 for internal validity and overall scale reliability.A total number of 250 Questionnaires are distributed to the sample of operations staff in the Government Ministry of UAE to find out mediating effect of technology on the innovation strategies/practices on job performance. Similarly, Quantitative analysis using SEM were used to evaluate and measure a relatively large sample in order to test hypotheses and examine relationships between variables. The findings revealed that, Technology does not show any mediation effect on the relationship between Product Innovation and Job Performance. Similarly, Job Performance is shown to have no mediation effect on the relationship between Market Innovation and Job Performance. In addition, Technology does not mediate the relationship between Process Innovation, and Organisational Innovation and Job Performance with respective statistics.

Abstract: This research is a comparison between UAE and Finland strategic foresight and the process of public policy making. This study employ the use of a questionnaire as an instrument to collect the data for this study. The main respondents in this research are the management staffs of government organizations in UAE and Finland. The findings revealed that, strategic foresight in UAE is mostly characterized by integrating values into future plans, early adoption of new trends, maintaining control when unrealistic plans, giving up present benefit for future rewards and starting of project today to address future. On the other hand, strategic foresights in Finland are shown to be more focused on early adoption of new trend, maintaining control during the occurrence of unrealistic plans, integration of values into future plans, seeing possibilities in all situations, and understanding what is coming.

Abstract: The main objective of the study ascertain whether there is difference between UAE and Finland strategic foresights. This study employee the use of questionnaires as means for data collection and conducted t-test analysis to ascertain the difference between the means across the strategic foresight dimensions between the two countries. Revealed that there was a statistically significant difference between the results UAE and Finland’s in the areas of Information use and method sophistication of the two countries’ strategic foresights. Specifically, UAE and Finland differs on information use in their strategic foresights. Similarly, the two countries differ on method sophistication in their strategic foresight. However, there is no significant difference between UAE and Finland on people and network, organisation and culture in their strategic foresights.

Mediating Effect of Organisational Culture on the Relationship between Information System and Sustainable Performance of Manufacturing Companies in UAE

Abstract: The manufacturing sector is playing a growing role in UAE’s economy. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), this study has addressed themediating effect of organisational culture on the relationship between information system and sustainable performance of manufacturing Companies in UAE. This is done by formulating, examining and establishing a research model linking the mediating relationships between Information System, Organisational Culture and Sustainable Performance experienced by the employees. The research hypotheses were tested in a cross-sectional survey of employees working in organisations in UAE. The results of this study indicate that increased levels of Support Decision System (SDS), lead to lower levels of Organisational Culture (OC).

Abstract: This study intend to analysis Role of Information System on Sustainable Performance of Manufacturing Companies in UAE. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), this study has addressed a significant gap in Information System, Organisational Culture and Sustainable Performance. This is done by formulating, examining and establishing a research model linking the multidimensional relationships between Information System (IS), Organisational Culture (OC) and Sustainable Performance (SP) experienced by the employees. Financial Management Workbench (FMW) is found to have a negative relationship with Information System, while Transaction Process System (TPS), Operation Information system (OIS) and Support Decision System (SDS) are independently and positively related to Information system (IS).
