This paper proposes a multi-modality technique for the segmentation of brain tumor its classification to differentiate easily between cancerous and non-cancerous tumor from MR images of the human brain. To achieve this, different segmentation and classification techniques have been applied. The important stages involved in the proposed technique are pre-processing, segmentation and classification stages. The pre-processing step is carried out using wavelet transform, segmentation stage is done by applying modified Chan-Vese model and finally the extracted tumor can be classified as benign or malignant using Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier. The experimental results on MR images prove that, the proposed method is efficient and robust to noise. Moreover, the comparisons with existing techniques also show that, the proposed method takes less computational time and classify the tumors very accurately.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>10</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2019</year>   </publication_date>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.K2214.0981119</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/K22140981119/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>Effects of Agile adoption on Trust, Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration in IT Organizations</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>PhD research scholar,School of Management, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulattur, Tamilnadu, India.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>Venkatesh</given_name>      <surname>Ram*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Dr. T.</given_name>       <surname>Vijayakumar</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Professor,School of Management, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulattur, Tamilnadu, India.</organization>   </contributors>
Adoption of Agile methodologies in IT organizations has revolutionized software development. The Compressed Sensing (CS) mechanism is employed to reconstruct the original image from the limited data given as the sparse matrix. Hence, CS can be utilized to reduce the acceleration time for an MRI scan considering the patient's health. So the sensing method is implemented by a suitable projection matrix for reconstructing the sparse signals from a few numbers of measurements using Compressed Sensing. The CS guarantees the recovery of the original image with high probability based on random Gaussian projection matrices. However, sparse ternarius projections are more apt for the implementation of hardware. In this article, the proposed deep learning method is employed to obtain a very sparse ternary projection in Compressed Sensing. Compressed Sensing Reconstruction using an adaptive scale parameter based on the texture feature is used to improve the image quality. The two scaling factors αx and αy are assigned to specify the fixed scale for changing the improvement of the image quality. In the parameter using texture feature, the αx and αy are assigned to α as an adaptive scale based on texture feature. In the TACS-SDANN architecture, there are two layers namely the sensing layer which trains the projection matrix and a reconstruction layer which trains for non-linear sparse matrix continuously using Auto-encoder. Experimentally, the scaling factors are calculated on the training data to get the mean Peak-Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) for improving the image quality. Hence a new deep network layer is employed to improve the image quality in this proposed method. Hence the consequence of the proposed method is compared with the SDANN method based on the mean Peak-Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) to check the image quality. From that comparisons, the TACS-SDANN architecture is proposed to yield a better performance.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>10</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2019</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>5455</first_page>     <last_page>5441</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.K2246.1081219</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/K22460981119/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>A Hybrid Model for Android Malware Detection</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>PhD Research Scholar Department of Computer Science &amp; Engineering, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed To Be University) Mullana, Ambala , India.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>Vinisha</given_name>      <surname>Malik*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Sandip Kumar</given_name>       <surname>Goyal</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Professor, Department of Computer Science &amp; Engineering, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed To Be University) Mullana, Ambala, India.</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Naveen</given_name>       <surname>Malik</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Assistant Professor Computer Science &amp; Engineering, Dcrust Govt University, Murthal, Sonepat, ndia.</organization>   </contributors>
Android malware have risen exponentially over the past few years, posing several serious threats such as system damage, financial loss, and mobile botnets. Various detection techniques have been proposed in the literature for Android malware detection. Some of the techniques analyze static parameters such as permissions, or intents, whereas, others focus on dynamic parameters such as network traffic or system calls. Static techniques are relatively easier to implement, however, stealthy recent malware evade static detection by virtue of update attacks. Dynamic detection can be used to detect such stealthy malware, however, it increases the computation overhead. Hence, both kinds of techniques have their own advantages and disadvantages. In this paper, we have proposed an innovative hybrid detection model that uses both static and dynamic features for malware analysis and detection. We first rank the static and dynamic parameters according to the information gain and then apply machine learning algorithms in the testing phase. The results indicate that hybrid approach is better than both static and dynamic approaches and the proposed model achieves 94.2% detection accuracy with Decision Tree classifier.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>10</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2019</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>2656</first_page>     <last_page>2662</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.K2250.1081219</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/K22500981119/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>Antibacterial and Anticancer Activities of Biogenic Synthesized Ag and ZNO NPS</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>BS&amp;H Department, GMRIT, Rajam, A.P, India.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>P.</given_name>      <surname>Geetha*</surname>    </person_name>  </contributors>
Biogenic synthesis of Ag and ZnO nanoparticles has been proposed as an environmental friendly and cost effective method. The main emphasis will be placed on the analysis of the Warsaw Convention and the Montreal Convention provisions reflecting the freedom-of-contract doctrine since the air travel compensation procedure is not regulated by the national Russian legislation. As a result of the analysis, the conclusion was made that individuals, for example, in the case of harm causation, have the right to choose according to the law of which country the compensation should be paid to them. Separately, it was established that the various degrees of liability of air carriers, prescribed in the rules of airlines, not only failed to contribute to fair compensation for harm to the life and health of a passenger but, on the contrary, made for unjust enrichment on both sides. In this regard, the authors came to the conclusion that it is necessary to bring the procedure of compensation for harm caused during air transportation to uniform standards of the transportation rules for all international airlines. In this regard, the authors substantiate the need to introduce the elements of self-regulation of transportation activities and mandatory insurance of carrier liabilities. Besides, proposals were made to fill the gaps in the current air transport legislation, for example, regarding the regulation of a long-term agreement on the organization of systematic air transportation, aircraft charter contracts, and contracts for the performance of aviation work which is important for the country's economy.
<publication_date media_type='online'> <month>10</month> <day>30</day> <year>2019</year> </publication_date> <pages> <first_page>1044</first_page> <last_page>1049</last_page> </pages> <crossmark> <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version> <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy> <crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain> <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain> </crossmark_domain> </crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive> </crossmark> <doi_data> <doi>10.35940/ijitee.K2264.1081219</doi> <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/K22640981119/</resource> </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'> <titles> <title>Technology and Innovation in the Development of Cognitive Activity</title> </titles> <contributors> <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Federal State Institution &quot;</organization> <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Research Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia”. In recent years, global changes have undergone in the Russian education system from pre-school education through higher education. First of all, they affected the higher education system. On the one hand, there was a significant reform of external features: the merger of several universities into one, and the adjustment of the names of universities and institutions. On the other hand, the changes affected the structure of higher education, the levels of education were defined from bachelor’s to master’s course. Competence and practice-oriented approaches began to occupy a dominant position in the learning process, as well as independent work of students was given special attention. On the basis of the Federal State Standards of Higher Education adopted in 2016 in the Law Enforcement major and Jurisprudence training area, for high-quality and effective implementation of their professional activities, graduates of the universities and colleges sponsored by agencies of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service must acquire a set of cultural, general vocational and specific professional competencies. To achieve the necessary competence (educational) level in the course of learning, the cadets are faced with the task of solving ideological, political, moral, and cognitive problems. Cognitive activity is key and conscious in the learning process, because it permeates the entire educational path of a person, starting with the initial cognitive efforts and ending with the satisfaction of the cognitive needs of trainees. Effective cognitive activity is impossible without positive motivation, sustainable cognitive interest, self-development and self-determination of the individual.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>10</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2019</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>1050</first_page>     <last_page>1055</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.K2266.1081219</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/K22660981119/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>Improvement of the Quality of the Educational Process in the Multi-Level Higher Education System</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Kindrya, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Moscow, Russia.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>Nataliya</given_name>      <surname>Alexandrovna*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Larisa Nikolaevna</given_name>       <surname>Aleshina</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Moscow, Russia.</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Svetlana Victorovna</given_name>       <surname>Bezhanova</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Moscow, Russia.</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Tatyana Vasilyevna</given_name>       <surname>Satina</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Moscow, Russia.</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Alexander Valentinovich</given_name>       <surname>Kosevich</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>International Institute of Economics and Law, Moscow, Russia.</organization>   </contributors>
The article is dedicated to the substantiation of approaches to the improvement of the quality of the educational process in the multi-level higher education system. The forward converter system nonlinear dynamic performance is present, as it works in switch-mode. Besides, it is revealed to significant inequality which may take this system during the nominal conditions, due to fluctuations on the load or on the line voltage at the input. Traditional converters like, boost converters, switched- inductor converters, switched -capacitor converters etc. are restricted because of at most duty cycle (unity). Fundamentally transformer is introduced to improve the voltage and also it gives the benefits of supplying power to various loads, therefore it is further acceptable for different DC power applications. Examination at open control of the suggested converters are described in this work and we investigate the equations of a forward converter and propose a design for components and also simulated two and three switches forward converter. Wireless Sensor network monitor environmental parameters (temperature, humidity, pressure, vibration etc). Group of sensor nodes forms a (WSN) and observations collected from these sensor produces low data quality and reliability due to the limited energy, memory, computation capability and bandwidth. The dynamic environment of network and roughness of the working condition are also responsible to generate inaccuracy in measurements. In this paper, an approach for outliers detection based entropy value of received sensor voltages is applied using KNN prediction model .The algorithm development and analysis involves a real time database generated on 14 sets of MICA2 wireless sensor kit with anomaly inserted by real time motion based intrusion in the lab by volunteers from Intel Berkeley lab. On each sensor data pair segmentation is applied by fixed window size in order get large outliers’ measurements training dataset. The analysis demonstrates the measurement accuracy in detection of number of outliers that its 86%. Moreover, the algorithm also provides an analysis in terms of impact of variation in distance types and number of nearest neighbours in the KNN prediction model. This work is helpful in the application in the situations where high amount of noise or distortions are present. However at nanometer regime , it has become a very challenging issue due to the increase in the short channel effects. In nanoscaled MOSFETs, the channel loses control from gate terminal due to potential at drain. Due to this, it is difficult to turn off MOSFET completely which inturn leads to leakage currents. Since cache memory occupies more area of processors, it is difficult to reduce leakage power in microprocessors. Double gate transistors have become replacement for MOS transistors at nano level. Since FINFETs have double gates, the leakage currents can be controlled effectively than planar MOSFET. But the distributed management and the control decisions make the network modest to control. Due to these problems, the behavior of the network becomes unpredictable and insufficient. Hence, there is a lack of flexibility in the conventional network architecture like in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). Therefore, Software-Defined Networking (SDN) finds the deficiencies of the previous technologies and isolated both the planes named as control and data plane. It aims to make the network more simplified and flexible with respect to that of the traditional one. The SDN application in WSN is very commanding in terms of network configuration and network management, leading to an emerging network technology known as Software-Defined Wireless Sensor Network (SDWSN). Therefore, the paper presents the challenges in SDWSN in terms of the management and configuration of the network. The pitch is to comprehend the current challenges with an end goal to ensure more security, efficiency, and dependability. We reviewed several works of literature such as SDN, WSN, and SDWSN and present the findings in terms of architecture, challenges, and their solution. This paper shows how SDN is included in WSN to solve the existing challenges.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>10</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2019</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>1064</first_page>     <last_page>1071</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.K2333.1081219</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/K23330981119/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>Dark Channel Prior Based Image Dehazing using Different Transmission Map Refinement Methods</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, CVR College of Engineering, Hyderabad, India.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>G Harish</given_name>      <surname>Babu*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>M</given_name>       <surname>Kavya</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, CVR College of Engineering, Hyderabad, India.</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>N</given_name>       <surname>Venkatram</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Dean Academics, Koneru Lakshmaiah Educational Foundation, India.</organization>   </contributors>
Due to existence of haze, the image quality is degraded in the environment. Removal of haze is called dehazing. To dehaze an image Dark Channel Prior is recommended. Dark Channel Prior is an observation, that an image has few pixels whose intensity value is very small or near to zero in most non-sky patches. Such pixels are referred to as dark pixels. Dehazing through Dark Channel Prior is accomplished using four major steps. The steps include estimating atmospheric light, estimating transmission map, refinement of transmission map and image reconstruction. Incorrect estimation of transmission map may lead to some problems. These problems include false textures and blocking artifacts. Many methods are developed to further sharpen transmission map. Here transmission map is refined using soft matting, guided filter and bilateral filter. The comparison of dehazing methods has become difficult due to scarce availability of ground truth images .So we used I-HAZE, a new data set containing 35 picture pairs of hazy pictures and their respective ground truth pictures. A significant benefit of I-HAZE data set is that it allows us to compare different refinement methods used for dehazing with SSIM, PSNR and RMSE which are used for the measurement of finally obtained reconstructed image quality after the removal of haze.
<publication_date media_type='online'> <month>10</month> <day>30</day> <year>2019</year> </publication_date> <pages> <first_page>3015</first_page> <last_page>3020</last_page> </pages> <crossmark> <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version> <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy> <crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain> <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain> </crossmark_domain> </crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive> </crossmark> <doi_data> <doi>10.35940/ijitee.k2337.1081219</doi> <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/K23370981119/</resource> </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'> <titles> <title>A Movie Recommender System using Ontology Based Semantic Similarity Measure</title> </titles> <contributors> <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Department of Computer Engineering, SES's R. This information overload may result in users’ dissatisfaction which is undesirable. Users’ satisfaction is very important aspect in every domain. Recommender systems play a vital role in dealing with information overload problems. The recommender systems filter the huge information on the Internet to generate limited and personalized information to users. This helps in increasing users' satisfaction by retaining his/her interests during navigation. Pure Web usage data based recommender systems have been used from last few years. However, they lag in precise recommendations because of absence of domain knowledge. Further, the similarity measures play a vital role in recommendation process and hence affect the performance of the recommender systems. The performance of recommender systems can be enhanced through integration of domain knowledge with usage data. This paper presents an approach to movie recommender system that integrates domain knowledge with usage data. The ontology is used to represent domain knowledge. The proposed approach is based on a new ontology based semantic similarity measure. The experimental results prove that the recommendations’ quality andaccuracy of prediction can be enhanced through integration of ontological domain knowledge with Web usage data.
<publication_date media_type='online'> <month>10</month> <day>30</day> <year>2019</year> </publication_date> <pages> <first_page>5490</first_page> <last_page>5497</last_page> </pages> <crossmark> <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version> <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy> <crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain> <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain> </crossmark_domain> </crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive> </crossmark> <doi_data> <doi>10.35940/ijitee.k2338.1081219</doi> <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/K23380981119/</resource> </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'> <titles> <title>Design and Implementation of Image Watermarking Scheme based on Exponential Function</title> </titles> <contributors> <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Dept. It is one of the leading health risk facing men today. So early detection of heart disease assist the patients to maintain a healthy life style. Several techniques are used in the medical field to detect or diagnose disease in view of patient family health history and some other aspects. However, developing a system to predict the heart diseases without any medical tests is still challenging. Machine learning (ML) approaches is suitable and effective in providing decision and prediction from enormous health care data. Several previous researches provide an overall view in ML methods for disease prediction but the accuracy of prediction is still needed to be improved. In this study, a novel framework is presented that intent at removing the unwanted features with Bacterial Colony Optimization algorithm and applies the Hybrid KNN algorithm with great accuracy in identifying the heart disease. The population consists of 90 families and more women than men. The first problem is the mosque congregation which is dominated by the elderly and small children so that it is rarely found some adolescents and adults aged around 25-30 years in the mosque. The community complained about the mosque youth organization that was no longer functioning. The second problem is the lack of TPA teaching staff. Based on the problems, the purpose of the community service is to make the mosque as a center of activity, foster a sense of love for the mosque, and re-procure the activities of the old TPA that had stopped running. The program is based on enhancing the empowerment of mosques as centers of civilization for the people. The importance of empowering this mosque is to better manage the programs in Raudhatul Jannah mosque, especially for new mosques that will be occupied later and be able to contribute or provide assistance so that the mosque management can be structured easily.
<publication_date media_type='online'> <month>10</month> <day>30</day> <year>2019</year> </publication_date> <pages> <first_page>1072</first_page> <last_page>1074</last_page> </pages> <crossmark> <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version> <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy> <crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain> <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain> </crossmark_domain> </crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive> </crossmark> <doi_data> <doi>10.35940/ijitee.K2345.1081219</doi> <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/K23450981119/</resource> </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'> <titles> <title>Emission Constrained Economic Dispatch with PV Energy Penetration</title> </titles> <contributors> <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Assistant Professor, SASTRA Deemed to be University.</organization> <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'> <given_name>M. Combined Economic Emission Dispatch(CEED)offers an effectivesolution to reducefossil fuel emissions as well ascost.Since 1985, CEED is considered to be a common optimization strategy. Literature contains lot of optimization methods for the strategy. In the recent times, using PV energy has proved to be a feasible and dependable alternative for electricity generation systems based on fossil fuels. In the developing countries, the dependency on fossil fuels has been seen as inevitable. At present, the use of renewable energy sources is rapidly increasing in inconventional power generation systems. The present paper puts forwardan approach of combining PVenergy-based grid integrated PV system with fossil fuel based thermal power plant using evolutionary programmingbased optimization technique.Among the various optimization techniques, the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is considered to be the most suitable technique for the problem is explained in detailed manner. The proposed method is to combine CEED with the PV energy and thereby reduces the use of conventional energy resources. It also permits an effective utilizationof abundantlyavailable PV energy. It is tested on standard IEEE 30 bus system with the real time ratings of proposed PV plant situated in Tamilnadu.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>10</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2019</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>3021</first_page>     <last_page>3026</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.K2346.1081219</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/K23460981119/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>Chromatic Polynomial of Domination Subdivision Non Stable Graphs</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>School of Advanced Sciences, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>A.</given_name>      <surname>Elakkiya</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>M.</given_name>       <surname>Yamuna</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>School of Advanced Sciences, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India</organization>   </contributors>
A graph G is said to be domination subdivision non stable ( DSNS ) if  ( Gsduv ) =  ( G ) + 1 for all u, v  V ( G ), u adjacent to v. These raw materials are mixed in particular proportions, these proportions are based on different concrete grades. These concrete grades defines the strength of the concrete. Construction of structures are based upon concrete, the construction process is growing day by day at a huge scale, hence there is more demand for the raw materials. In order to maintain the demand, excessive extractions of raw materials are done, which makes environment more harmful. In order to limit the extraction of natural raw materials that are used for producing concrete mix, alternative supplementary materials are replaced with fine aggregates. This study involves using of alternative supplementary materials as partial replacement of fine aggregate by copper slag and rock dust, copper slag and rock dust are used at various proportions. The various proportions of rock dust and copper slag are 0% to 50% replacement at an increment of 5% interval. Polypropylene fiber is the material that is added as supplementary material to the concrete mix, it is added at constant volume of 1.5% volume of concrete, it is mixed in concrete to improve toughness and reduce shrinkage of concrete. Super plasticizer admixture that is used is Conplast SP430DIS which contains sulphonated naphthalene formaldehyde is added to cement based on site trails which increases the early concrete strength. Combining copper slag, rock dust, polypropylene fiber and super plasticizer admixture in modified concrete gave best results when compared to conventional concrete due to content of silica in copper slag. Hence this combination can be used for further investigation.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>10</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2019</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>2226</first_page>     <last_page>2233</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.K2436.1081219</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/K24360981119/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>Mathematical Morphology and Optimum Principal Curvature Based Segmentation of Blood Vessels in Human Retinal Fundus Images</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Assistant Professor, Department of BCA, PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>K.</given_name>      <surname>Geethalakshmi*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Dr.V.S.</given_name>       <surname>Meenakshi</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Research Supervisor, PG and Research Department of Computer Science, Chikkanna Government Arts College, Tirpur, Bharathiar University, Tamilnadu, India.</organization>   </contributors>
The retinal abnormalities and diagnosis of Diabetic Retinopathy (DR), Glaucoma are accomplished by extraction of vessel network in human retinal images. A straight forward and economical procedure has been employed by sol-gel technique for the co-doping of Mn2+ and Ni2+ into TiO2. The co-doped and undoped photocatalysts were described by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), UV-Visible Diffused Reflectance Spectroscopy (UV Vis-DRS), Transmission electron Microscopy (TEM) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET). The portrayal results shows that anatase and rutile mixed phase was observed for some co-doped nanocatalysts and the remaining catalysts exhibits anatase phase only. It was observed by FT-IR that the shifting of frequency of Ti-O-Ti in the catalysts was seen due to substitutional doping of Mn and Ni by replace Ti and O, further the photocatalysts shows rough morphology, irregular shape of particle with size (6.5nm) and having high surface area (135.70 m2/g), less band energy (2.7 eV). From a single source vehicle the multicast routing protocols delivers multicast messages to all members of the multicast group by means of multi-hop communication. Increasing the density of vehicles results in channel overload, which increases the probability of data collision; hence reduction in successful received data will increase the delay. Therefore, delay and energy consumption are the major constraints that should affect the performance of routing. In this paper we suggest a delay and energy efficient multicast routing (DEMR) protocol for vehicular network using a hybrid machine learning algorithm. The DEMR protocol consists of four layers; are vehicle layer, fog layer, OpenFlow switch layer, and SDN controller layer. Moreover, to partition the vehicle layer, and select the optimal multicast path based on multiple constraints improved weed optimization (IWO) algorithm is proposed. IWO algorithm separates the multicast request into emergency, common and police requests. We design a multi-objective lion optimization (MOLO) algorithm among fog nodes for resource management, which increases the utilization of resources in fog layer and decrease the response time of multicast session request. MOLO algorithm removes the unnecessary flow table and session table entries in the controller. The DEMR protocol is implemented in Network Simulator (NS3) tool and simulation results are compared with the protocols as EEMSFV, MABC, and CVLMS. From the simulation results we conclude that the DEMR algorithm is better than EEMSFV, MABC and CVLMS in terms of transmission ratio, overhead load, average end to end delay, packet loss ratio and, energy consumption.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>10</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2019</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>3048</first_page>     <last_page>3055</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.K2469.1081219</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/K24690981119/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>Bringing Energy Efficiency for Hospital Building through the Conservative and Preventive Measures</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Graduate Scholar, Civil Engineering Department, SIT, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>Sathwik</given_name>      <surname>Reddy*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Dr. Sayali</given_name>       <surname>Sandbhor</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering Department, SIT, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India.</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Mrs. Vaishnavi</given_name>       <surname>Dabir</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering Department, SIT, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India.</organization>   </contributors>
The energy consumption of hospital buildings, have increased due to embedment of sophisticated equipment pertaining to advent of technology. Factors affecting energy consumptions are air quality monitoring, high maintenance of sophisticated machineries, accurate sanitization of premises, high load of patients to doctor ratio in India which is 1596:1 as compared to regulation of 1000:1 prescribed by World Health Organization (WHO). Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) reported that nearly 60% of health care services and hospitals do not meet the minimum of Energy Performance Index (EPI) criteria. Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) of India shows that hospitals in India have a potential to achieve 42% energy saving by implementing energy efficient measures. Hence, there is a dire need to assess the parameters contributing to heavy energy consumption and the conservative and preventive measures need to be addressed. Literature indicates incorporation of efficient domestic water heating techniques, boilers, usage of renewable energies, thermal insulation improvement, optimal building design, improvement of air conditioning and heating systems, optimizing electric energy installations etc as possible techniques for achieving energy efficiency. A compile of best practices proposed from literature as compared to the regulations made by ECBC, CII, MEDA, and GBC (Green building council) is made in this paper. The main content of the paper is to study the LMTD (logarithmic mean temperature difference), Heat transfer Coefficient and Effectiveness (ε) of combined heat exchanger using acetone/water mixture as a function of a different mass flow rates. This paper deals with the experimental study on the three different heat exchangers like tube in tube, shell and tube and combined (tube in tube &amp; shell and tube) heat exchanger with acetone/water mixture mostly to check the elevation of convective heat transfer coefficient, LMTD, effectiveness, overall heat transfer coefficient. This experimentation work give a summary of, the experimental study of the forced convective heat transfer and flow characteristics of a 25% acetone consisting of 75% water. Acetone/water mixture flow in to a parallel, counter direction in the tube in tube, shell and tube heat exchanger and combined heat exchanger under laminar flow conditions. A maximum increase in the coefficient of convective heat transfer of 58.4% and an effectiveness of 48.5% is recorded. However, combined heat exchanger provides better heat transfer characteristics than parallel and counter flow tubular and shell and tube heat exchanger due to the multi-pass flow of acetone/water. The overall heat transfer coefficients, Reynolds number, logarithmic mean temperature difference, the effectiveness of the acetone/water are also studied and the results are presented in tabular columns and figures.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>10</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2019</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>5503</first_page>     <last_page>5510</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.L2471.1081219</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/L24711081219/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>Minimal Rule-Based Classifiers using PCA on Pima-Indians-Diabetes-Dataset</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Research Scholar, Rayalaseema University ,Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>A.Thammi</given_name>      <surname>Reddy*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Dr.M.</given_name>       <surname>Nagendra</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Professor and Head of the Department, Department of Computer Science, S.K.University, Anantapuram, Andhra Pradesh.</organization>   </contributors>
Diabetes mellitus has been a very complex and chronic lifelong disease. It is necessary to analyze the main indicators of lead generation efficiency, return on investment, and conversion.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>10</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2019</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>3066</first_page>     <last_page>3071</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.L2477.1081219</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/L24771081219/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>A Hybrid Algorithm using Neural Network and Artificial Bee Colony for Cyber Security Threats</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUS&amp;T), Hisar, Haryana.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>Abhishek</given_name>      <surname>Kajal*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Dr. Sunil Kumar</given_name>       <surname>Nandal</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUS&amp;T), Hisar, Haryana.</organization>   </contributors>
With the increasing literacy rate, the crowd over internet is increasing dramatically and so as the internet threats. Now these days, even kids below 10 are aware of what a virus is and how easily a virus can be created. This is a major problem for the data and stock companies who keep their entire data online or at any server which is traceable. This paper deals with some of the most malicious attacks of cyber world and they takes a little effort to be applied from the attacker side but a lot of effort to even detect it. This paper also focuses on some of the modern world prevention architectures like usage of Artificial Intelligence (Neural Networks) and Swarm Intelligence (Artificial Bee Colony [ABC]). This paper has evaluated the effectiveness of the prevention algorithm through Quality of Service parameters.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>10</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2019</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>1</first_page>     <last_page>6</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.L2478.1081219</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/L24781081219/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>Quality Evaluation of Speech Enhancement Algorithms for Normal and Hearing Loss Listeners</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Departmrnt of Electronics &amp; Telecommunication Engineering, Research Scholar, College of Engineering Pune, Pune, India, Faculty,AISSMS Institute of Information Technology, Pune, India.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>Hemangi</given_name>      <surname>Shinde*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>A.M.</given_name>       <surname>Sapkal</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Departmrnt of Electronics &amp; Telecommunication Engineering, College of Engineering Pune, Pune, India.</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Aishwarya</given_name>       <surname>Phatak</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Departmrnt of Electronics &amp; Telecommunication Engineering, AISSMS Institute of Information Technology, Pune, India.</organization>   </contributors>
The subjective quality test of the enhanced speech from different enhancement algorithms for listeners with normal hearing (NH) capability as well as listeners with hearing impairment (HI) is reported. The subjective quality evaluation of speech enhancement methods in the literature survey is mostly done targeting NH listeners and fewer attempts are observed to subjectively evaluate for HI listeners. The algorithms evaluated are from four different classes: spectral subtraction class(SS), statistical model based class (minimum mean square error), subspace class(PKLT) and auditory class (ideal binary mask using STFT, ideal binary mask using gammatone filterbank and ideal binary mask using gammachirp filterbank). The algorithms are evaluated using four types of real world noises recorded in Indian scenarios namely cafeteria, traffic, station and train at -5, 0, 5 and 10 dB SNRs. The evaluation is being done as per ITU-T P.835 standard in terms of three parameters- speech signal alone, background noise and overall quality. The noisy speech database developed in Indian regional language, Marathi, at four SNRs -5, 0, 5 and 10 dB is used for evaluation. Significant improvement is observed in ideal binary mask algorithm in terms of overall quality and signal distortion ratings for NH and HI listeners. The performance of minimum mean square error is also observed comparable with the ideal binary mask algorithm in some cases.
<publication_date media_type='online'> <month>10</month> <day>30</day> <year>2019</year> </publication_date> <pages> <first_page>7</first_page> <last_page>12</last_page> </pages> <crossmark> <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version> <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy> <crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain> <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain> </crossmark_domain> </crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive> </crossmark> <doi_data> <doi>10.35940/ijitee.L2479.1081219</doi> <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/L24791081219/</resource> </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'> <titles> <title>Feature Extraction Techniques Based on Swarm Intelligence in OCR</title> </titles> <contributors> <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department, CSMSS, Chh. In this article, the suitable techniques are designated for better character recognition in document into machine readable form. It is belonging with Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) system, which solve the delinquent of searching images in huge dataset. The recognition technique of handwritten character is not developed efficiently till, because of variations in size, shape, style, slats etc. in writing skill of human being. To overcome such problems, the part of concentration is feature extraction and algorithm that take care of such variation. In this paper independent component analysis is used for extracting features. For feature vector selection particle swarm optimization and firefly algorithms are applied. It is observed that due to distributed neighborhood pixel of an image, the PSO gives better recognition rates.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>10</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2019</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>13</first_page>     <last_page>19</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.L2480.1081219</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/L24801081219/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article><!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>Construction of Schemes, Models and Algorithm for Detection Network Attacks in Computer Networks</title>   </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Providing Information Security Department, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, Tashkent, Uzbekistan</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>Gulomov</given_name>      <surname>Sherzod*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Abdullaev</given_name>       <surname>Dilmurod</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Providing Information Security Department, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, Tashkent, Uzbekistan</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Malikova</given_name>       <surname>Nodira</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Information Technology Department, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, Tashkent, Uzbekistan</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Akhmedova</given_name>       <surname>Khusniya</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Hardware and Software of Control Systems in Telecommunication Department, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, Tashkent, Uzbekistan</organization>   </contributors>
This article is devoted to develop network attack detection schemes to search for vulnerable servers and the likelihood of determining the type of attacks by the contents of network packets, a network attack recognition scheme that allows to filter external network traffic by processing incoming requests is proposedas well a network detection model attacks as signs of detecting the position of a security policy is offered. Based on the analysis of time series, a network attack detection model that allows identifying network attacks by a threshold value is developed and a mathematical model for real-time recognition of network attacks is proposed.Model of the behavior of the information flows are shown that the linear model does not provide an adequate assessment of the current process to the critical states. Within the framework of developing models for detecting network attacks, an algorithm for detecting and identifying network attacks is proposed, which allows one to perform not only an exhaustive search for the classification features of network attacks, but to limit itself to a shortened search. The behavior of the queue of half-open compounds are described with an absorbing state, and a system of differential equations for state probabilities are obtained.
