In this paper an efficient realization of three input two level XOR(Exclusive-OR) is presented. The design of low power and high speed proposed XOR gate involves the combination of pass and transmission gates. The main objective to achieve this is based on the selection of input signals to propagate and maintain the good logic swing. Two methods were used to design proposed XOR, one (i.e. Pass_gate) is purely based on pass transistors with 8 MOSFET’s and second method(Modified_Pass_gate) uses transmission gates with 12 transistors. The Modified_Pass_gate offers 86.14% and 6.66% of power dissipation reduction compared to static and Pass_gate XOR respectively and 77.18% and 50.94% less propagation delay compared to static and Pass_gate XOR respectively, at the supply voltage of 0.7v with input signal frequency of 3GHz. As the days slip by we see people feel overwhelmed because of the impact of the habits followed by them in this hustle and bustle lifestyle. The main reason is poor stress– relief mechanisms. The recent drugs and chemical solutions which are being prescribed to overcome the impact of stress on the human body are in vain in most of the occasions and further leads to innumerable side effects. The term acupressure is used to report a kind of medication which is being provided to cure various afflictions by applying a manual pressure to stimulate the acupressure points in the body along which the flow of energy occurs. Each time consumers need to get an appointment and wait for it wasting their precious time and in conjunction with it, the methodologies used for the treatment now-a-days are not automated i.e., they are done manually with the help of ancient designs and the patients always need the help of an authorised healer who can do acupressure. The proposed work presents the design of an embedded based acupressure tool which can be used instead of existing acupressure tools for the treatment. The design represents a new contribution to the field of reflexology. In this scheme the acupressure points on the hand are considered. It allows the user to undergo the acupressure treatment in their residence under their own steam. It also has been observed that the heat transfer from the hot wall increases with Reynolds number and addition of nanoparticles to the nanofluid as well. The friction factor for the flow system decreases with increase the Reynolds number, but for different nanofluids its value is very much closer to each other. With increase in volume fraction of nanoparticles, the pumping power increases. Moreover, with increase in Reynolds number, pumping power increases.
<publication_date media_type='online'> <month>03</month> <day>30</day> <year>2020</year> </publication_date> <pages> <first_page>1819</first_page> <last_page>1825</last_page> </pages> <crossmark> <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version> <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy> <crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain> <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain> </crossmark_domain> </crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive> </crossmark> <doi_data> <doi>10.35940/ijitee.E2909.039520</doi> <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/E2909039520/</resource> </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'> <titles> <title>Generalized Method o f Calculation o f t he Joint Characteristics o f t he Internal Combustion Engine a nd t he Tractor Transmission</title> </titles> <contributors> <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education &quot;</organization> <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Russian State Agricultural University-Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. One such step has been taken by S.R.K.R Engineering College to generate power through solar roof tops by installing a 33KWp On-grid solar power system (Latitude 16.54° N and Longitude 81.50° E) during April-2016. This grid connected PV system is installed at an area of 345 sq. m and the PV modules are tilted at an angle of 18° on the top of a 3 staired building. This paper analyses the Performance of a 33KWp On-grid photovoltaic system which is monitored between Jan-2019 to Dec-2019. Some part of electricity generated by the system is consumed by the college and the remaining power was fed in to the state grid. The tariff for the grid connected system is based on the energy consumed from the grid and the energy supplied in to the grid. The data is collected from the Data-logger of the inverter which is having an IP address. This data is collected according to the IEC protocol which suggests to collect the data for every 15 minutes. The data is collected from the inverter in this format and is stored as a csv file every day. This data along with the meteorological data collected from the coordinates of the site are analyzed by using pvsyst simulation software. The performance of this system is found for the third year in operation. . The analysis of the PV system has been done to enumerate its performance at each and every component and thereby develop solution to mitigate the problems. The different parameters including efficiencies of panels, inverter, array’s initial yield, final array yield, and the performance ratio of PV system are analyzed.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>03</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2020</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>1765</first_page>     <last_page>1770</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.E2923.039520</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/E2923039520/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>GA SMC Technique for Photovoltaic Systems under Non Homogenous Meteorological Conditions</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Department of Electrical Engineering, Mohammadia School of Engineering, Mohammed V University of Rabat, Rabat, Morocco.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>Cheikhne Cheikh</given_name>      <surname>Ahmed*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Mohamed</given_name>       <surname>Cherkaoui</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Department of Electrical Engineering, Mohammadia School of Engineering, Mohammed V University of Rabat, Rabat, Morocco.</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Mohcine</given_name>       <surname>Mokhlis</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Department of Electrical Engineering, Mohammadia School of Engineering, Mohammed V University of Rabat, Rabat, Morocco.</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Mouad</given_name>       <surname>Bahij</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Department of Electrical Engineering, Mohammadia School of Engineering, Mohammed V University of Rabat, Rabat, Morocco.</organization>   </contributors>
When the photovoltaic sources are subjected to the partial shading (PS) effect, the PV modules are consequently subjected to the different levels of the irradiation. Indeed, when the phenomenon of the partial shading occurs, the Power-Voltage curve of the PV panel presents several points of maximum power. These points are divided between local and global, where the global maximum point presents the superior maximum, and the local maximum points present the inferior maximums compared to the global one. In fact, the classical Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) techniques can not distinguish the global maximum power point, but can track only the first maximum found at the right hand of the Power-Voltage curve. Thus, in some cases, the classical techniques can cause the high drop of power. To solve this issue, this paper proposes a new approach based on the genetic algorithm (GA), because of its ability to optimize the solar panels’ output power production under the PSC. This optimization method is combined with the robust Sliding Mode Controller (SMC). Here, the GA is used in order to locate and generate the reference voltage corresponding to the global maximum power. While the sliding mode controller is used in order to track the reference voltage by acting on the duty cycle of the SEPIC converter. To examine the performance of the proposed method, the comparison with some hybrid controller, which are P&amp;O-SMC, P&amp;O-BSC, INC-BSC and INC-SMC, is performed. The results show the tracking performances of the proposed method, which are the accuracy and rapidity. Moreover, the results illustrates the ability of the proposed hybrid controller to detect the partial shading and to distinguish the Global Maximum Power Point.
<publication_date media_type='online'> <month>03</month> <day>30</day> <year>2020</year> </publication_date> <pages> <first_page>1481</first_page> <last_page>1487</last_page> </pages> <crossmark> <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version> <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy> <crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain> <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain> </crossmark_domain> </crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive> </crossmark> <doi_data> <doi>10.35940/ijitee.E2925.039520</doi> <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/E2925039520/</resource> </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'> <titles> <title>Necessity to Design a Controller for PV Module</title> </titles> <contributors> <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>PhD in Control Systems from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam</organization> <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'> <given_name>Dr. Ch. We all are directly dependent on non-renewable source which will only last for 1 or 2 decades. The PV cell exhibit non linear I-V and P-V characteristics. In this paper it is discussed about the factors which will affect the PV module performance. Some factors will decrease the solar cell performance while some factors will improve the efficiency and increase its output power. The performance characteristics of PV module are modeled mathematically and simulated under different atmospheric conditions. The simulation model is obtained using MATLAB software and stimulated under different values of input parameters of PV module that include irradiance and temperature. The variations of these parameters were recorded under different atmospheric conditions. The input parameters of solar cell like solar irradiance and ambient temperature was evaluated. It observed that the maximum power produced fluctuates with both irradiance and temperature. Since the conversion efficiency of PV array is exceptionally low, it requires maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control techniques. The MPPT is the programmed controlled method used to guide the solar cell to achieve the maximum power output, during minute to minute variations of atmospheric changes like irradiance and temperature. The MPPT controller is used to provide maximum power output from PV module against changes in temperature and irradiance. Authors in this work have tried to devise an innovative method to optimize ultrasonic production of biodiesel from used cooking oil, using composite technique combining Response surface Methodology and African Buffalo optimization. In this research work, heterogeneous catalyst Lithium doped CaO has been obtained from a new natural source by high-temperature thermal decomposition of Musa Balbisiana root ash and tested its Conversion efficiency for conversion of waste cooking oil into methyl esters. It was observed that the catalyst is really effective for the production of biodiesel from even high Free Fatty Acid waste cooking oil. For optimization of production parameters authors have used ABO complemented with RSM to maximize the biodiesel production yield. The maximum biodiesel yield of 96.67% was achieved using ABO which is about 15% higher than provided by RSM which is 81.01%. The highest biodiesel yield of 96.67 % is obtained at 15:1 Molar Ratio with 3.5% catalyst wt. percent, 60 Degree C Temp. in 45 Minutes with an error of 2.5 % in yield prediction by ABO. The work may be utilized by industries and researchers to use ultrasonic reactors optimally to extract better biodiesel volume in very short time instead of presently used slow mechanical stirring tank reactors.
<publication_date media_type='online'> <month>03</month> <day>30</day> <year>2020</year> </publication_date> <pages> <first_page>1938</first_page> <last_page>1947</last_page> </pages> <crossmark> <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version> <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy> <crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain> <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain> </crossmark_domain> </crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive> </crossmark> <doi_data> <doi>10.35940/ijitee.E2930.039520</doi> <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/E2930039520/</resource> </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'> <titles> <title>Churn Prediction using Machine Learning-An Analytical CRM Application</title> </titles> <contributors> <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Assistant Professor in Sri Krishna College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.</organization> <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'> <given_name>Ms. M. This project is being developed to be implemented in Perur – Ukkadam by-pass road of Coimbatore,Tamilnadu, India . It is around 2.2 Kms in length. In the study area, it is observed that the pavement failure is under the category of swelling and shrinkage characteristics of soil. To overcome this failure, its necessary to improve the bearing capacity of sub grade soil . For this purpose the Natural Fiber Composites (Coir &amp; Sisal) were used in improving the soil bearing capacity and checked for CBR test to design flexible pavement. The improper secretion of thyroid may leads to obesity, fertility related problems, feeling depressed, etc,. Most of the thyroid problems can be managed if it has been properly treated. In recent years a number of models have been developed to investigate the thyroid-disorder. The laboratory tests are conducted to find the levels of the hormones and some of the physical examinations are used to identify the presences of thyroid. These examinations and test results are taken as the feature for developing the model. The feature importance can promote the performance of ML algorithms. The core intention of this study is to improve the classification performance by identifying the relevant features before classification. In this work, random-forest model is considered for identifying the important features and KNN algorithm is implemented for multiclass-classification to envisage the kind of thyroid chaos. Applying KNN after the feature selection improves the prediction accuracy. The hybrid microgrid consists of PV, wind, battery, and grid. The power management strategy is mentioned in islanding and grid-connected mode. In a grid-connected system, the grid converter has to monitor and manage the power to flow between microgrid and grid. The voltage shifting based droop control technique is used in DG for proper load sharing when two sources are connected in parallel. DG units in hybrid microgrid have two switching modes including droop control and maximum power tracking (MPPT). The operation of a hybrid microgrid is operated in different thee mode. The bus voltage is the main carrier to switching the mode of a hybrid microgrid. The power management algorithm for hybrid microgrid described here. Other than enhancing mixing and improvement in combustion processes it also influences heat transfer, combustion quality, and engine raw emissions. To improve swirl intensities in-cylinder parameters like velocity, pressure, temperature and turbulence intensity are to be considered. There are two ways to create a swirl, modification in the intake system and valve design. So this work done contains modifications in the design of manifold to enhance turbulence during the intake stroke. Designs of manifold having different bend angle of 15o, 30o, 45o, 60o and 75o were used, all parts of numerical analysis were carried out on Ansys Fluent. The 200mm long intake model having a 20 mm diameter, with a bend on 160mm along length was used to find out the best bend angle configuration from the above orientations. K-epsilon model was used to simulate flow dynamics; variations turbulent kinetic energy was studied. After analyzing these results it was concluded that best-optimized design (in terms of turbulent kinetic energy) to get better swirl was for 75o. This work gives the understanding to find new techniques for further improvement in mixing by increasing turbulent kinetic energy. This work emphasizes on the techniques to enhance turbulent kinetic energy of any flow, and can also be applied to different fields related to mixing of fluids other than diesel engine.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>03</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2020</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>1979</first_page>     <last_page>1982</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.E2973.039520</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/E2973039520/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>A Process to Develop Sign Language Corpus using Crowdsourcing</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Department of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>Uzma</given_name>      <surname>Farooq</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Mohd Shafry Bin Mohd</given_name>       <surname>Rahim</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Department of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia.</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Adnan</given_name>       <surname>Abid*</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Department of Computer Science, University of Management and Technology, Pakistan.</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Nabeel</given_name>       <surname>Sabir</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Department of Computer Science, University of Management and Technology, Pakistan.</organization>   </contributors>
Humans use language in order to communicate between one another. The time required for stereo matching represents a problem for many real time applications such as robot navigation , self-driving vehicles and object tracking. In this work, a real-time stereo matching system is proposed that utilizes the parallelism of Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). An area based stereo matching system is used to generate the disparity map. Four different sequential and parallel computational models are used to analyze the time consumed by the stereo matching. The models are: 1) Sequential CPU, 2) Parallel multi-core CPU, 3) Parallel GPU and 4) Parallel heterogenous CPU/GPU. The dense disparity image is calculated, and the time is highly reduced using the heterogenous CPU/GPU model, while maintaining the same accuracy of other models. A static partitioning of CPU and GPU workload is properly designed based on time analysis. Different cost functions are used to measure the correspondence and to generate the disparity map. A sliding window is used to calculate the cost functions efficiently. A speed of more than 100 frames per second(f/s) is achieved using parallel heterogenous CPU/GPU for 640 x 480 image resolution and a disparity range equals 50.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>03</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2020</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>1983</first_page>     <last_page>1987</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.E2982.039520</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/E2982039520/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>An Efficient Model for TV broadcast A udio C lassification through InceptionV3 and ResNet50</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Research Scholar, Department of Computer and Information Science, Annamalai University, Indian.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>Kamatchy</given_name>      <surname>B.*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Dr. P.</given_name>       <surname>Dhanalakshmi</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Annamalai University, India.</organization>   </contributors>
In the recent advancements of applications, one of the challenging task in many gadgets are incorporated, which is based on audio classification and recognition. A set of emotion detection after post-surgical issues, classification of various voice sequence, classification of random voice data, surveillance and speaker detection audio data act as a crucial input. Most of the audio data is inherent with the environmental noise or instrumental noise. Extracting the unique features from the audio data is very important to determine the speaker effectively. Such kind of a novel idea is evaluated here. The research focus is based on classification of TV broadcast audios in which the type of audio is being class separated through a novel approach. The design evaluates, the five different categories of audio data such as advertisement, news, songs, cartoon and sports from the data collected using the TV tuner card. The proposed design associated with python as a Development environment. The audio samples are converted to images using Spectrogram and then transfer learning is applied on the pretrained models ResNet50 and Inceptionv3 to extract the deep features and to classify the audio data. Inception V3 is compared here with the ResNet50 to get greater accuracy in classification. The pre-trained models are models that was trained on the ImageNet data set for a certain task and are used here to quick train the audio classification model on training set with high accuracy. However, coffee farming in Indonesia is mostly managed by smallholder farmers who still apply traditional technology. This study was aimed to: (1) analyze the level of institutional role, agribusiness capacity, autonomy of farmer, and sustainability of smallholder coffee farming; (2) analyze factors affecting autonomy of farmers and sustainability of smallholder coffee farming. This research was carried out in Bondowoso and Malang Regency, East Java, Indonesia through the approach of survey conducted on 376 coffee farmers of all smallholder farmings of Robusta and Arabica coffee. Samples were collected by multistage random sampling done in the two regencies. Survey method was used in this study. Data were collected during July-October 2019 using the method of questionnaire, interview, and observation. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential method through SEM Lisrel. Result of the study showed that institutional support was categorized as low, while agribusiness capacity, autonomy of farmers, sustainability were included in moderate category. Factors found to affect the level of farmer’ autonomyof farmers were the support of institutional role and agribusiness capacity of farmers. Factors directly affected the sustainability of smallholder coffee farming was autonomy of farmers, whereas the role of institution and agribusiness capacity of farmers were found to indirectly affect sustainability. To strengthen autonomy of coffee farmers towards the sustainability of smallholder coffee farming, agribusiness capacity building and strengthening is necessary. Therefore, all stakeholders (government, private institution, and community) will immediately design such program that involves the synergy of multi-institutions related to smallholder coffee farmers.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>03</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2020</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>1839</first_page>     <last_page>1845</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.E2985.039520</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/E2985039520/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>RBC Classification in Blood Smear Image using Neural Network</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Department of ECE, Centurion University of Technology and Management, Bhubaneswar Campus, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, , INDIA</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>Debaraj</given_name>      <surname>Rana*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Sushanta Kumar</given_name>       <surname>Sahu</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Department of IEE, College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, INDIA.</organization>   </contributors>
Biomedical image processing becomes an emerging field due to automation in the field of medical science with the help of image processing techniques. One of the most important factors of variation in the stock prices is the day of the week effect, which indicates calendar irregularities in stock markets. Investment in the stock market is the most uncertain; therefore investors get worried regarding the appropriate day to trade in the financial market. The main objective of the present study is to find out the appropriate day of the week effect of developing the stock market of an emergent nation like India from 1st January 2000 to 31st December 2018. For fulfilling the objectives of the study, the daily closing value of four major indices of the Bombay Stock Exchange has been taken into consideration. To test the equality between average returns to different days and to examine the distribution pattern of daily returns series that measure the day of the week analysis, the parametric tools alike Mean and Standard deviation have employed. Apart from the parametric test, t-test has also applied to the daily returns in order to test the hypothesis. In this study, descriptive statistics and the GARCH model has also used with the purpose of measuring the day of the week effect analysis. Here tasks are divided in accordance with their requirements, and then search for appropriate VM, again searching for appropriate PM, where selected VM could be sent. In this paper, newly developed Hybrid Warping of weighted linearized homography matrix and similarity transform matrix is implemented over standard image stitching database. The visual quality of stitched image using proposed method has been examined in terms of performance metrics of Full Reference Image Quality Assessment (FRIQA) such as Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Structural Similarity Index (SSIM) and Reduced Reference Image Quality Assessment (RRIQA). Also, the performance analysis of proposed method is compared against existing image stitching methods in terms of field of view and stitching time. The latex modified concrete using SBR latex were prepared with various polymer-binderratios and tested for compressive strength, flexure strength, elastic modulus and rapid chloride penetration test. Latex contents were varied as 5, 10 and 15 percentages by mass of binder (cement and silica fume). The effect of the polymer-binder ratio on the properties of latex modified concrete was examined. It was concluded from the test results that the compressive strength and elastic modulus decrease with polymer binder ratio and flexural strength increasing with polymer binder ratio. This study is dealt with the fabrication and chemical treatment evaluation of waste sugarcane bagasse fibre and wood dust powder composite. Sugarcane bagasse fibre and wood dust powder found to be good bonding owing to its properties like light-weight, high specific strength, bio-degradability and so on. The sugarcane shells are collected from local juice job and then it is chemically treated along with removal of sugar, and then dried in open atmosphere in the presence of sunlight. It is then pulverized to particle sizes of 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm and with a weight ratio of 75:25, the epoxy resins are mixed through which the fibres with 6 mm thick mould composites are made with different flat-shape. As per ASTM standards, specimens are made for conducting the experiments such as density determination, moisture absorption and mechanical tests. The sugarcane bagasse/epoxy composites (SB/EC) with wood dust powder were chemically treated with benzoic acid and sodium hydroxide for obtaining the mechanical properties. The results show that chemically treated composites have more flexural and tensile strength as compared with untreated sugar-free SB/EC. Alkali (NaoH) treatment obtains the highest flexural and tensile strength as compared with benzoic acid treatment. Both flexural and tensile strength of synthetically(chemical) treated composites, in any case, discovered lower than those of untreated sugarcane bagasse filled composite when unwashed sugarcane bagasse which contained sugar. Thus without additional chemical treatment, sugarcane bagasse perhaps used as a reinforcing agent since sugar contributes to the mechanical properties of the composites.
<publication_date media_type='online'> <month>03</month> <day>30</day> <year>2020</year> </publication_date> <pages> <first_page>2126</first_page> <last_page>2131</last_page> </pages> <crossmark> <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version> <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy> <crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain> <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain> </crossmark_domain> </crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive> </crossmark> <doi_data> <doi>10.35940/ijitee.E3016.039520</doi> <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/E3016039520/</resource> </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'> <titles> <title>Seismic Design of Precast Component Beam-Column Joints using Headed Anchors</title> </titles> <contributors> <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Research Scholar. It is well established in non-seismic conditions where gravity loads are predominated. But it is hesitated to implement during seismic conditions by the effect of lateral loads. Most of structural failures in precast framed structures are associated with beam-column joints as the integrated joint system experience high shear, and moments by cyclic action of seismic loads. In this context, researchers found that the joint distortions in precast system is well associated with its location of beam-column sub-assemblage. In beam-column joints the connections are attributed to locate in D-regions (D:Discrete) and B-regions (B:Beam) where the force transfer mechanism follows by strut - tie method (STM) or flexure beam theory(FBT) respectively. This paper analyzed the seismic performance of “Component Based Precast Joints”[CBPJ] located in D&amp; B regions. To meet the convergence requirements, the connection systems are detailed by mechanical couplers and headed anchors. Five numerical models of exterior beam-column joints representing two models (BM1,BM2) of B-region and three models (DM1,DM2,DM3) of D-region are developed and verified their seismic performance with monolithic joint system by non-linear finite element analysis using ABAQUS software .The results indicated that the use of headed anchors in precast joints are effectively contributed to seismic requirements of shear, ductility, stiffness and energy dissipation. Also the precast joints located in D &amp; B regions resembling good performance of joint sustainability during moderate seismic conditions as monolithic system.
  <publication_date media_type='online'>     <month>03</month>     <day>30</day>     <year>2020</year>   </publication_date>   <pages>     <first_page>2132</first_page>     <last_page>2142</last_page>   </pages>   <crossmark>     <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version>     <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy>     <crossmark_domains>       <crossmark_domain>          <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain>       </crossmark_domain>     </crossmark_domains>     <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive>   </crossmark>   <doi_data>     <doi>10.35940/ijitee.E3020.039520</doi>     <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/E3020039520/</resource>   </doi_data> </journal_article> <!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'>   <titles>     <title>Tourist ’s Translator based on Digital Image Processing and Hybrid Translation</title> </titles>   <contributors>      <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Department of Computer Science and Engineering, ABES Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad, Affiliated to AKTU Lucknow, India.</organization>    <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>      <given_name>Rijwan</given_name>      <surname>Khan*</surname>    </person_name>    <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Aryan</given_name>       <surname>Kaushal</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Department of Computer Science and Engineering, ABES Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad, Affiliated to AKTU Lucknow, India.</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Ayush</given_name>       <surname>Agarwal</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Department of Computer Science and Engineering, ABES Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad, Affiliated to AKTU Lucknow, India</organization>     <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>       <given_name>Avdhesh</given_name>       <surname>Kumar</surname>     </person_name>     <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Department of Computer Science and Engineering, ABES Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad, Affiliated to AKTU Lucknow, India.</organization>   </contributors>
Being a tourist in a foreign country is not easy when it comes to getting familiar with the local language. The parameters such as Bandwidth, Return Loss and Radiation efficiency are improved in the proposed antenna. A comparison is also shown for the proposed feed structure with and without conformal strips. The improvement in the bandwidth is observed from 25% to 65% by optimizing the antenna design parameters. It works in three frequency bands, that is, 2.03-3.69 GHz, 3.86-7.26 GHz, and 7.32-9.26 GHz. It requires bulk utilization which is possible in geotechnical applications such as embankments and subgrades. This necessitates the determination of the geotechnical properties of fly ash from different thermal power plants. The present paper investigates the geotechnical characteristics of fly ash from HNPC, Pedagantyada, Visakhapatnam. The physical and index properties of HNPC Fly ash (HNFA) and its OMC and MDD using I.S. Heavy compaction are first determined. The shear strength, CBR and permeability are then determined at OMC. The study also investigates the influence of polyester fibers and lime as admixture to HNFA in different percentages on Compaction and CBR properties to check their effectiveness in improving HNFA for use in embankments and subgrade. The chemical and morphological characteristics of HNFA, including its specific surface, XRD, SEM and FT-IR spectra have also been determined. The study confirms the suitability of HNFA for use in geotechnical applications and verifies the relative suitability of polyester and lime as admixtures for further improvement of the geotechnical properties of HNFA.
<publication_date media_type='online'> <month>03</month> <day>30</day> <year>2020</year> </publication_date> <pages> <first_page>2007</first_page> <last_page>2013</last_page> </pages> <crossmark> <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version> <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy> <crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain> <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain> </crossmark_domain> </crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive> </crossmark> <doi_data> <doi>10.35940/ijitee.E3041.039520</doi> <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/E3041039520/</resource> </doi_data> </journal_article><!-- ============== --> <journal_article publication_type='full_text'> <titles> <title>Novel M ethod of Nanoparticle Synthesis using Surface Grinding</title> </titles> <contributors> <organization sequence='first' contributor_role='author'>Department of Mechanical Engineering, Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science &amp; Technology, Vallam, Thanjavur, India.</organization> <person_name sequence='first' contributor_role='author'> <given_name>N.</given_name> <surname>Shivakumar*</surname> </person_name> <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'> <given_name>Dr. T.</given_name> <surname>Ramesh</surname> </person_name> <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India.</organization> <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'> <given_name>Amritha P. </given_name> <surname>P.</surname> </person_name> <organization sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'>TIFAC-CORE in Cyber Security, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, India.</organization> <person_name sequence='additional' contributor_role='author'> <given_name>Dr. Srividhya</given_name> <surname>P. We present a novel method of synthesizing nanoparticles such as C, ZnO, Al, Fe2O3. The surface grinding was taken as a fundamental process inside the proposed Nano Particle Synthesizer (NPS). Parameters such as speed of the grinding wheel, feed rate and coolant feed rate could be used for fixing the dimension and specification of our nano particles synthesizing unit. After Passing through the NPS, particles of micro and nanoparticles were collected in glass plate and characterized using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to confirm the size and shape of nano particles. This method could be employed as an alternative method to High Energy Ball Milling for producing high pressure and high temperature that favors the synthesis of nano particles in specific shape and size.
  <publication_date media_type='online'> <month>03</month> <day>30</day> <year>2020</year> </publication_date> <pages> <first_page>1643</first_page> <last_page>1646</last_page> </pages> <crossmark> <crossmark_version>CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version> <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy> <crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain> <domain>www.ijitee.org</domain> </crossmark_domain> </crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive> </crossmark> <doi_data> <doi>10.35940/ijitee.E3044.039520</doi> <resource>https://www.ijitee.org/portfolio-item/E3044039520/</resource> </doi_data> </journal_article>
