Abstract: This paper presents an approach that use combined cost method and disparity refinement for stereo matching. Here disparity is obtained using the intensity, gradient, histogram of gradients for cost computation. Later disparity refinement is performed using Weiner filter. The correctness of matching is enhanced in the proposed method. The combined use of cost measure ensures the effective evaluation. The proposed approach produces good quality disparity map.
