Abstract: Cross training an employee means to train him in different rolls and activities in his same domain of job. Cross training is planned in an organization to improve inter positional knowledge of the employees. This will maintain positive coordination between different teams. Employees will learn the skills that are required to perform other rolls which helps to understand the overall picture of the work in the organization. This paper discusses different methods of cross training and their benefits to employees.
