Abstract: When talking about the car door and its importance, all aspects should be considered. The primary function of the door is to protect passengers from external weather conditions, including airflow, temperature fluctuations, dust, and side impacts. As a part of the car, it is connected to the car body using hinges, a latch, and weather seals. It is excited by all excitation sources that excite the vehicle and its accessories. Car door design evaluation involves simulating the real-world application of a door with various loading conditions and boundary connections. An extensive literature survey and study of technical papers have been conducted to understand the amount of work done on Car door design evaluation from 2002 to 2022. A comprehensive study was conducted to determine the number of analysis papers published, the annual publication rate, and the distribution of papers by analysis type. A detailed study was also conducted on documents published in NVH analysis. NVH analysis of a Car door itself is a broad area for study and research. To simplify and streamline NVH analysis, papers are subdivided into further classes, including modal analysis, vibration and noise analysis, and correlation of modal, vibration, noise, and other NVH analysis results. A thorough review of published papers provided an in-depth understanding of the subject, the current status of Car door NVH, and the scope of future research on Car doors.
