Abstract: Starting late, the transmission of data through structure is growing rapidly, which gives minute access or scattering of bleeding edge data. Secret information sharing is the basic subject in the field of correspondence progress, information security and age. At any rate security can be introduced from various perspectives like transmitting question state, picture stowing unendingly, watermarking framework, certification and seeing confirmation. Abstract: VLSI industry is very vast and fast-growing industry in the world with increasing complexity and intensive development. In semiconductor industry there is always a trade of between area, power and timing. As there are advancements in the technology along with miniaturization taking place the timing and power play important role for SoC chip designing and production. The main aim in the SoC chip design is to make a cost-effective chip with low area, power consumption with efficient and fast timing response. By using latest technological advancement techniques and methods the exact timing can be maintained. By proper analysis of the timing paths, and suitable optimization techniques we can have accurate timing and reduce power consumption. In this paper, Change-Sensing flip flop is designed to have accurate timing and minimum power consumption. The tool used is Cadence virtuoso with 45nm technology and MTCMOS technology is used for power reduction. Results verify that the designed Change-Sensing flip flop with MTCMOS technology consumes very less power with-respect to many flip-flops designed for the industry. The designed FF reduces power consumption by 44.37 % when compared to TGFF. The FF has setup time of 47.70 pS and hold time of -15.15 pS. The designed flip flop will help in overall power reduction in the SoC chip design and will improve the timing response.

Energy Efficient Utilization of Computational Resources by Predicting CPU Idle Time

Abstract: Consumption of energy in cloud data centers are growing at an alarming rate owing to regularizing of using cloud servers for data and resource sharing applications. The consumption of power usage in CPUs is not directly proportional to its utilization as the power feed to the cloud server is not regulated as per its CPU utilization levels. Hence, increasing the operational and maintenance cost. Though this problem can be curved if we could predict the idle CPS utilization time of variable lengths and thereby regulate its operational mode into various low-power or sleep mode in order to automatically control the power utilization. But such a system would require to synchronously train on the live CPU data as the problem of waking up the CPU at unoptimized level would result into latency issues and thereby reversing the outcome causing more power wastage then actually destined to save so. Therefore, development of such a online learning framework is a significant challenge for achieving energy savings at data centers. In this study, we present aonline learning based algorithm for CPU idle state prediction by training it on real time over the live streaming data of Cloud servers and its state of CPUs. Our results show that about 50-60% of power savings can be achieved over variety of other existing techniques for prediction CPU idle times.

Abstract: An exhaustive paper on Inverted U-shaped Electromagnetic-Band-Gap-(E/B/G) structure has remained investigated. The design has proved in an extremely compact size and volume. This compact ultra-wideband (UWB) Dual Notch Strainer through enhanced out-of-band presentation via quasi TEM EBG construction has been proposed. An analytical assessment consumes stayed approved out amongst the innovative building then the conservative mushroom-like EBG erection. The design is evaluated, modeled and simulated using Advanced Design System (ADS) by using Method of Momentum 2.5 D solver. The Dual Band Notch filter has been realized in a metal channel of 19mm x 53 mm in dimension. The Dual Notch Filter (DNF) with EBG structure has been demonstrated in S band at 2.4 GHz and C band at 5.1 GHz for Bluetooth and WLAN applications With a rejection of -40dB, performance of Dual Band Notch filter is compared by their lesser supplement loss also advanced coming back loss. The Imitations as well as Experimental consequences have been confirmed that the zone of the Inverted U-like construction has been carried out by Utilizing Broad Side Coupled.

Abstract: Wind is the amplest source of energy after Solar. Considering the rise in demand for alternatives to conventional generation of electricity using fuel, wind energy is an attractive sustainable solution. This project focuses on the design and fabrication of an airborne wind turbine, which is a new generation of wind turbine systems that consists of a turbine elevated at high altitude using helium balloon tied with tethers to restrict movement. The current work focuses to overcome the limitations of ground-based windmills by reducing production costs, location constraints and altitude limit. The prototype built is modelled using CREO software and it is simulated using ANSYS Work Bench to enhance the structural stability and obtaining design parameters. The system has a maximum capacity to generate up to 700 W, which is enough to supply half a high electricity consumption household.

Abstract: This project deals with the design and fabrication of a water powered car. The sustainable energy system plays a very important role nowadays because of various limitations in the exhaustible fuels and the pollution. The proposed car incorporates a water turbine which is rotated by the high pressure developed by the powerful pump and specially designed nozzle. The work produced by the turbine is stored in the batteries and the same work is used to run the overall system. Maximum rotation of the turbine power and efficiency is calculated by both theoretical and experimentation. Both the results and compared and validated. The system is modeled in CREO software and tested in Ansys Workbench to obtain structural stability. The system is fabricated using Aluminum for the cups of the turbine and Mild Steel for the chassis.

Abstract: Among the challenges faced by most of the business CIOs and IT managers now-a-days, among them, mostly are profitable or efficient utilization of the IT infrastructure, degree of the responsive-ness in urging for new initiatives of business and is much flexible in acclimatizing to changes in the organisation. The continued worries of meeting the IT budget as well as the stringent regulatory requirements are also the main challenges faced by the IT industry. Virtualisation, a technological innovation, helps a lot in deploying creative solutions to these business challenges. Data centre virtualisation is defined as the process of developing, deploying and designing a data centre on virtualization and other computing technologies. It helps to virtualize physical servers in a data centre and does this along with different aspects like storage devices, networking devices and other infrastructure and equipment. [1] Data centre virtualization usually produces a collocated and virtualized cloud data centre. By research, we know that, consolidation of the VMs helps to optimise or in fact reduce the usage of resources thereby reducing unnecessary energy consumption in a cloud data centre. The VM placement has a vital impact in the consolidation of the VMs. The specialists have created many different calculations or algorithms for VM consolidation considering the efficient energy utilization. However, these algorithms lack the use of exploitation mechanism efficiently and most of them focussed on number of physical machines (PMs) minimization and neglected future resource demands. Due to this, there were unnecessary VM migrations done [2]. Moreover, it violated most of the rules of the Service Level Agreement (also abbreviated as SLA) in data centres. In order to resolve this issue, this paper proposes an approach via VM consolidation that considers both, current as well as future utilization of resources. There are two solutions provide where one uses a model based on regression algorithm [3] in order to approximate and predict the CPU and memory utilizations of VMs and PMs and other uses two separate designed algorithms specifically designed to schedule VM in multi-tenant data centers. In order to attain the analysis and performance part, real workload traces like Planet Lab and Google cluster [4] are used. The results achieved via the proposed solutions showed betterment over the heuristic and meta-heuristic algorithms used here in reducing particularly the consumption of energy, the rate of migrations of VM and also the reduction of number of violations of SLA.

Abstract: In Present generation there is drastic increase in the production of Milk which eventually made increment of Milk Centres in different areas. Since most of the milk come from farmers ,the probability of misrepresenting the information is very high where farmers do not understand ,In order to make the system very transparent to all the people who deposit the milk, The paper is designed to automate the measuring of the fat content present in the milk with the help of Embedded Technology. This System is designed in such a way to work without any human interaction. The system used the concept of diffraction of light to calculate the fat percentage of the milk using LDR and LASER (Spectroscopy Concept). The System also used the Unique identification technique using RFID. The System will also store the information of the depositors for future references of data. This being a completely automated system, this will decrease the amount of any illegal activities performed by the vendors at the Milk Station.

Abstract: The substantial increase in number of vehicles leads to tremendous rise of traffic volume and also the traffic congestion on roads. Almost every city in India is facing the traffic problems. These traffic problems leads to the loss of manpower and also increase of fuel consumption. Critical gap and lag are less the developed countries which confirms the ore risky behaviour of drivers in developing countries like India .critical gap is the most important parameter associated with gap acceptance study especially in case of delay and capacity estimation. Uncontrolled intersections in the developed countries are controlled by traffic signals like vehicle signals , pedestrian signal etc, but in vijayawada no one traffic signals and yield signs. It creates more problems and also leads to delay of traffic. This paper systematically analyse the behaviour of pedestrian at uncontrolled intersections.

Abstract: In recent times, the dependence on fossil fuels has grown to an alarming rate. These fossils fuels such as coal, petroleum, natural gas are all being depleted at a much faster rate than they are being generated. Apart from the depletion, burning of these fossil fuels releases large amounts of pollutants such as CO2 which have been found to cause global climate change. Research upon alternate fuel sources has always been important as our dependence cannot be completely cut off at once as our lives would come to a halt. Keeping this in light, my team has researched and developed bio-oil using coconut shells. We selected coconut shells as our raw material because utilisation of the bio-mass we produce helps us to reuse the waste that we produce and allows us to reuse it with the least utilization of man power while also giving us the best yield of bio oil. The bio-oil was produced from coconut shells using a combination of both unit operations and unit processes as well. The ease of availability and efficient extraction of oil can be obtained from the coconut shells with large possible surface area at 450°C and at 1 atmosphere pressure yields oil of 50%/kg of feed. The analysis of the produced bio-oil has also been done and the results obtained have been compared with conventional diesel.
